Man Makes Batmobile Replica In His Own Garage
It sometimes amazes me what a person can do by themselves with right attitude and motivation and with this superbly cloned Batmobile, this amazement has happened once again. Bob Dullam who makes specialty costumes, props, and statues for a living is credited with the creation, he created it in his home Garage using only photographs from the film.
The project cost between $50K and $70K in total, Dullam has also made and batsuit and he also plans to start on a Batpod next. Sorry to say for anyone wanting to get hold of it, it is definitely NOT for sale.

I heard he's actually making one. It would be cool though if it could pop out of the tumbler like in the movie!

There is no way this thing could have only cost "between $50K and $70K" to make. It's pretty accurate
by Kaamraan | August 16, 2008 11:16 AM
He should work in hollywood

Was that article written whilst the author was drunk..? It has a plethora of grammatical errors.

Ha ha! For years I dreamed of life-size working Starfleet vessels. Paramount should at least build to-scale mock ups for filming.

One of the last pics...what in the @#!@# is he posing with the armor and sword in his hands?!
by guzmann | August 16, 2008 2:54 PM
I believe the thinks he's a samurai... :o
by guzmann | August 16, 2008 2:56 PM
this guy is a man!!! the talent. ^^guzmann that sword looks more like the cops' beating people stick :P He's also got that near-spiderman hand gesture.
well, if he doesn't sell it, hopefully he won't get a complaint similar to that Limo Ferrari.

is it more power then german car or just typisch american weak engine? like SL65 black series vs corvette
by plasma_cluster | August 20, 2008 12:53 PM
hahahahahahah. ooh man, it actually has a 3000hp turbine engine that rev's to about 20,000 rpm. while getting about 60mpg in the city, and 200mpg at speeds above 150mph. *eyesroll*
by joe_limon | August 20, 2008 6:30 PM
most of you like it, i hate it, its nerdy and a waste of money.
