This week is officially Audi RS6 tuner week, we have already been treated to the efforts by Abt and B&B on top of the MTM version from last month, now Kicherer enters the arena with their own version which carries the label Audi RSStreet.

The hub of this latest performance upgrades centers around the 580 bhp 5.0-liter FSI twin turbo V10 engine laying in the engine bay. Kicherer modify several individual components on the power unit although they fail to state exactly what these are, nonetheless it still results in a power increase that takes overall output to 700hp and 780Nm of torque. Other performance upgrades are available including a 4-flow stainless steel exhaust system and a set of sports springs which lowers the model by 25mm.

All put together, the RSStreet can accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in a little under 4.3 seconds and it reaches 200km/h in 13 seconds flat, top speed lies rises to 280km/h. These times are a little slower than previous tuning packages seen, however it would be hard to compare these models other than side by side on a racetrack.

Kicherer also gives the RS6' exterior are quick going over with a set a 22inch rims and a two tone color scheme along with mirror shells, front spoiler and rear diffuser all made from genuine carbon.

Nice car, but why these big ugly rims?? I don't get it..

every week someone comes out with a new aftermarket kit for audi and they are all ugly.

Nice car, i respect a lesser known company putting it down but the paintjob is horrible.

Yep, another one in the arena. Put some chup-chups style paintjob on it, trendy black-starred rims with chrome palted rings, add an exhust - no matter of what make and decent ECU-uprade, which gives you up to 30% on turbocharged lumps and: Let's get famous Borvas! We pimped RS6 for u! Nice way to get famous. :-) I'd put more trust into MTM, ABT or B&B Automobiltechnik which have been here for years and know the torque on every single screw fitted to Audi engines. Oh yes here we have ANOTHER RS6. Cheerz for posh RSStreet badge.

Come on, You have to give them some credit, aside from the horrible paint, its good to see "small guys" making an effort and building something. And in all honesty, what could you start off better with than one of the worlds fastest luxury sport sedans? Especially now it comes with the V-10 Twin Turbo thats also going to be seen in the R8 V10, even better since the tech here will carry over. For a small tuning firm they made the best decision to put themselves on the map IMO.

the rs6 for pathetic gangsta rappers. Love the other ones but hate this one, mostly cause the ugly gansta rims

by ipsesnipse | August 21, 2008 9:24 AM
Lol...don't be ignorant brother, the rims are ugly but any RS6 buyer can go these guys to just get the engine work done, they don't have to pay for the ugly paint and rims. Rims would probably bought by the owners themselves(not as ugly).
