E-Go Revolt: First Images of a New Russian Sports car

A new Russian revolution is fast approaching. Said revolution goes by the name of E-Go Revolt, E-Go being the name of the company that manufactures the Revolt, the Revolt being the sports car fully designed in Russia. E-Go is a new coach-building company that’s located in Moscow and they have already started producing the Revolt. Their car, the Revolt, is based on a Mitsubishi platform but unfortunately we aren’t too sure which platform at the moment. From its name you might expect an electronically-powered car, but alas, not.

Pursuing this dream with feverish motivation, E-Go has acquired the services of a 3.0-litre V6 engine, pushing its 550 hp through a set of twin turbos and paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The suspension is of active pneumatic form which is very modern as a concept. At the wheels E-Go runs on 19-inch alloys with tyres measuring 245/40/19 up front, and 325/30/19 at the rear.

In what may turn out to be quite an innovative yet very risky move, E-Go has placed all the Revolt’s electronic systems controls at the centre of the steering wheel, with touch screen monitors for control.

by munch997 | October 23, 2008 12:03 PM

by carcrazy1234 | October 23, 2008 12:38 AM
Well, the whole car, I rather drive a pink car, in redneck land, or a car with the japanese flag on the bonnet in China, or a car with the U.S. flag on the bonnet, in moscow , then this thing

by M.V.P. | October 23, 2008 12:56 AM

by IgorKenig39 | October 23, 2008 1:03 AM
Wasn't the first technically TVR?

by radmeister | October 23, 2008 1:37 AM
Ugly panda car that looks kinda like the Nissan GT-R. other than that it sounds not too bad.

by pscs | October 23, 2008 1:06 AM
Yes, a Maserati 4200 rear-ends a Nissan GTR. 550bhp from 3.0 litres might cause reliability issues. And the name... At least the ISO Rivolta was quite nice looking.

by bristol411s3 | October 23, 2008 1:47 AM
Dont know how cars like these can get away with plagiarism

by kevoluetion | October 23, 2008 2:36 AM

by _M7_ | October 23, 2008 3:16 AM
more like revolt-ing!

by need4speed | October 23, 2008 3:48 AM
Maserati Gran Sport rear ends Pagani Zonda!

I like it. What's not to like?

Great lines, aggressive stance, classic.

by joshg_5 | October 23, 2008 4:10 AM
REVOLT-ing name. Decent-looking car. I wouldn't complain.

by lonestarpng | October 23, 2008 4:38 AM

by Zpeed | October 23, 2008 5:35 AM

by carcrazy1234 | October 23, 2008 5:40 AM
ARRGH!!! well at least the russians can put together a copy car more cohesively than the chinese. what is it about communist (or ex communist) states that makes them feel its ok to openly copy other cars! nsx proportions, maserati rear, gtr front, and HUGE overhangs!

by abey | October 23, 2008 7:01 AM
'EWWW!!' is all I can say.

by Tuner_Mad | October 23, 2008 10:16 AM

by munch997 | October 23, 2008 3:19 PM
Ok lets give them a bit of credit ok. This is actualy not a bad looking cars comparing to what they had came up with before. Of course you cant compare this car to the giants of automakers like Mitsubishi and Maserati, but its not bad

by vadizzel | October 23, 2008 4:15 PM
it's not bad , but they could have came up with a better wheel design , and it should be shorter in the rear , but overall it aint that bad , love the Carbonfiber

by dolcegabbana | October 23, 2008 5:47 PM
Interesting looking car. Not too bad. But what about build quality and reliability? Russian cars aren't really know for their build quality. And old friend of mine had a LADA 1.7 4x4. Man what a seious POS. From Coach building to super cars????Hope it works !!!!

by jackjack | October 23, 2008 6:25 PM
I'll pass. It doesn't look that good and I can't imagine that the reliability or handling would be even close to okay, but if it's proven to be a rocket then I'll eat my words.
